What are my rights as a client?
Along with professional delivery of any work, we are committed to maintaining a personal dedication to your success, and an uncompromised confidentiality to all clients. In addition, any questions that may arise throughout your experiences with our services, will be addressed in timely matter.
What are my rights if I choose to discontinue using your services?
Our commitment to your confidentiality will not waiver, if for any reason our services are no longer required. According to the rules and regulations governing all CPA’s, your information and corresponding work will remain confidential until you or your new CPA requires it. In such a situation we require a written request to deliver information to your corresponding CPA unless you decide to pick it up yourself, if there is an outstanding balance we will maintain the right to withhold the corresponding work.
How do you compute fees?
Our fees are structured on an hourly basis with adjustments according to individual jobs. While each job is unique and must be calculated so, the primary factors of most jobs are consistently: size and extent. Our awareness of competitive prices and commitment to low costs is among our top priorities.
How can I use my CPA?
At Pradip Patel and Co. we are committed to maintaining a professional relationship with all clients and will make ourselves available in order to provide the advice and tools you may need. Your CPA can be your confidant, advisor, partner, and tool; in essence your financial go to guy.
How do you analyze and accept clients?
In addition to considering the needs of each client, we review client industry, business size, location and the workload required in order to accept engagements. We enjoy working with all kinds of people, but ultimately the best interest of all prospective clients must be preserved.
What is the size of your firm?
At the moment we operate with a fulltime staff of 3 to 4 accountants. However, if a field audit or attestation engagement requires a larger staff, temporary accountants are employed.
What are some of the newer technologies and services you are currently developing?
As the business environment constantly evolves with technological developments, Pradip Patel and Co. is dedicated to implementing the most useful of such developments in order to sustain and provide a competitive edge for our clients.
While digital files and electronically filed of taxes have become standardized methods at our firm, we are currently developing services in the field of accounting information systems (AIS). While accounting methods vary according to users, using AIS we will be able to analyze existing systems and implement solutions for efficiency, accuracy, and ease of use while considering organizational and personal demands.
What can I expect in regards to the services you provide?
- According to clients, completed work can be personally picked up, mailed, faxed,
e-mailed, and couriered or delivered. Completion notices are made in regards to unscheduled jobs, and queries on any job status can be made directly.
- Any concerns or questions are addressed as incurred unless the matter requires an extended explanation, in which case clients are free to make an appointment or set a time to revisit the issue.
- Services are performed on a first in - first out basis. However, if a retainer or fee is delinquent, we will notify the client of the amount, and the corresponding work will be suspended until the matter is resolved.
